KIPP Ceiling Tile, Lighting, & HVAC Register

Scope of Work:

This project calls for the renovation of the Multipurpose Room Ceiling at the 230 Henry property. Scope of Work below to include the following. The removal and disposal of all existing ceiling tiles, and replaced with vinyl rock tile with hold down clips. Existing lights to be replaced with 2x2 Led fixtures. Replacing old supply and return grills. Removal of furniture, equipment and storage will be done by the contractor with the owner's approval. Any and all code requirements will be followed to meet the requirements of this project.

1. Ceiling
a. Remove and discard existing 2’ x 4’ ceiling tiles.
b. Clean and prep the existing T-bar grid for painting.
c. Replace any damaged or missing T-bar sections.
d. Add additional T-bar sections to match the ceiling grid as needed.
e. Paint all T-bar grid white gloss enamel.
f. Install new vinyl rock ceiling tiles with hold down clips.
g. Replace returns and supply grills.
2. Lighting
a. Remove existing surface-mount fluorescent fixtures.
b. Install new 2’ x 2’ LED lay-in fixtures using the existing layout.
c. Repurpose all electrical circuits currently present to layout design.
3. Paint
a. Prep, prime and paint all of the existing ceiling grids. Paint color will be gloss white enamel.

The Bid must be submitted no later than May 20, 2024 @12:00 PM CST.

Pre-Bid Information:

A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting is scheduled for this project. Any vendors wanting to bid on this project must attend this meeting, no exceptions. All respondents are required to sign-in at the stated date, time and location listed below. The Pre-Bid meeting will be held at the following location, KIPP Memphis Henry Campus. See below for address, date and time of the Pre-Bid meeting.
